Yes I know the Buccaneers are interviewing a ton of guys to be their next OC.

If they were under Sean McVay, their name will be called soon for an interview.

Expect the guy who gets the water for McVay to be up at any minute.

But while that is going on, I have decided to do my first mock draft of the offseason.

Because why not.

We all know the needs for this team, so lets get this party started.

Round 1 (19)- Linebacker Jalon Walker This guy may shoot up draft boards just through his sheer athleticism, but most boards still have him as a pretty good chance of him wearing pewter in 2025.

And there is a good reason for that.

There are shades of 2020 Devin White to this guys game.

He is projected to be a MLB, but he is really a versatile playmaker that can also be used off the edge on blitzing packages where he just takes up residence in the backfield.

Now, I know some of you may be traumatized by the mention of him being similar to White, but he was at one point a really good player.

Walker is an incredibly young player, which means he can really improve upon the already insane athletic ability he has.

To give this kind of weapon to Todd Bowles is something that may have GMs waking up in a cold sweat.

Round 2 (53)- Safety Nick Emmanwori I know safety may not seem like the most pressing of needs for the Bucs.

However, I think this guy on the other side of Antoine Winfield will be so good.

There are some who think he could move into the first round and I have seen several comps to Derwin James.

Much like Jalon Walker, this is a Todd Bowles type of defender.

Thats shorthand for this guy can play anywhere and has uber athletic ability.

he has lined up at deep safety, in the box, and also in the slot.

Its like if you gave Izien a height boost.

Round 3 (84)- Edge Kyle Kennard Some GM will be fired if this draft actually comes true for the Bucs.

This has the potential to be a home run draft if these three players alone live up to potential.

Kennard is another under the radar guy that draft analysts will scream at you should go higher.

After transferring from Georgia tech, he had a monster season.

If the Buccaneers cant land a big fish in FA (which I think is unlikely but who knows), this guy may have the answer.

Yaya Diaby unless he has a big leap or Chris Braswell just develops at a speed faster than sound, we need someone else.

JTS is not the answer and neither is Shaq at his age.

The only question is if he can develop his hands and get some meat on his bones.

There are some questions of if he can hold up at the NFL level.

But he has the speed to beat a lot of tackles off the edge.
