Angel Reese refuses to do one thing in her career as Unrivaled comes to the rescue

Chicago Sky star Angel Reese has admitted she can never see herself playing basketball outside of the United States.
Reese , 22, is currently starring in the newly created Unrivaled series , a three-vs-three women's basketball league that takes place during the WNBA and college offseason.
While Caitlin Clark turned down the opportunity to compete in the division, which offers players a minimum salary of $100,000 and an average pay packet of $250,000, Reese took the opportunity with both hands.
Basketball stars often find themselves spending the offseason playing abroad, to keep themselves sharp and their income ticking over.
Fortunately for Reese, Unrivaled has given her a strong offseason income which means she does not need to go elsewhere.
While speaking on her podcast , 'Unapologetically Angel' .
Reese admitted: " I told myself like I never want to go overseas." Reese has been competing with the Rose team alongside Kahleah Cooper (Phoenix Mercury), Chelsea Gray (Las Vegas Aces), Lexie Hull (Indiana Fever), Azura Stevens (Los Angeles Sparks) and Brittney Sykes (Washington Mystics).
The event has proven to be a huge success, with over 364,000 people tuning in for the first game.
It's a figure which placed the competition in the top two spots for most watched women's basketball games on TNT Sports ever.
Considering Reese's explanation for joining Unrivaled in the summer, it has been everything she wants and more.
She said to Sky News: " Being able to be in Miami from January to March, not having to go overseas.
Nobody wants to go overseas.
A lot of us never wanna have to go overseas, but some people do have to go overseas unfortunately.
"So being able to make six figures within three months, being able to be housed in Miami, just being able to get better, being able to know two great players that are starting something, I think its amazing.
3-on-3 is something that I love to do, I havent been able to play competitively but I think I can work on some of my individual skills because 3-on-3 exposes everything.
So I'm excited for it.
Unrivaled was the brain child of New York Liberty star Breanna Stewart and Minnesota Lynx icon Napheesa Collier.
The first match, between the Lunar Owls and the Mist, took place on January 17.
The competition will conclude on March 17, just one month before the WNBA draft and two before the new campaign begins..
