In todays roundup, the Toronto Maple Leafs are reshuffling their lineup due to an injury to John Tavares and Jake McCabe s potential return.
But perhaps the biggest story is that Connor McDavid , at only 28 years of age, is now second in all-time Oilers scoring.
He trails only the great Wayne Gretzky .

Maple Leafs Make Moves to Cover Tavares Injury Today, the Toronto Maple Leafs made several moves based on injury issues .
First, John Tavares was placed on injured reserve with a lower-body injury after an awkward fall in practice.
Tavares has been placed on IR and is out for at least a week.
Second, Fraser Minten was recalled from the AHL Toronto Marlies.
Mark Masters wrote , Fraser Minten staying out late at Leafs skate so doesnt look like hell play tonight Connor Dewar , who was an extra yesterday at practice, not skating this AM which suggests hell play.
Third, it looks as if Jake McCabe is nearing a return after missing four games.
He could play tonight against the New Jersey Devils.
Finally, blue liner Marshall Rifai was reassigned to the AHL.
McDavid Passes Jari Kurri for Second Place in Oilers All-Time Points Connor McDavid scored twice and added an assist last night as the Edmonton Oilers beat a tough Minnesota Wild team 5-3 on the road.
McDavid passed Jari Kurri for second on the Oilers all-time points list with this three-point night.
In the win, Ryan Nugent-Hopkins added a goal and an assist, and Zach Hyman and Vasily Podkolzin also scored goals for Edmonton.
Oilers backup goalie Calvin Pickard had a busy night in the crease.
He made 31 saves as the Oilers won their third straight and improved to 28-13-3.
Blues Beat Flames 2-1 in a Close Game In our final NHL recap, in the third period, Radek Faksa scored the go-ahead goal to lift his St.
Louis Blues team to a 2-1 win against the Calgary Flames.
Colton Parayko scored the Blues earlier goal.
Goalie Jordan Binnington makes 27 saves to help the Blues extend their winning streak over the Flames to five games.
Although the Flames worked hard and played well, their three-game winning streak ended.
On Monday, Calgary had beaten the Chicago Blackhawks to open a four-game road trip.
Flames goalie Dan Vladar made 23 saves in the loss.
