NYY News: Prospects and Hall of Famers

Baseball Prospectus | Jeffrey Paternostro, Jarrett Seidler, and BP Prospect Staff ($) : Prospect season continues.
Today, its Baseball Prospectus Top 101 prospects.
The good news is the Yankees place two youngsters on the list.
The bad news is another fell off.
Jasson Dominguez comes in at No.
24 on this years slate.
Though hes not likely to be there for long, considering hell soon graduate from prospect status.
Yankees 2023 first-round pick George Lombard, Jr.
also makes an appearance, sneaking in at the 100th spot.
Alas.
BP are no longer high on Spencer Jones, who does not make an appearance on this years list.
Baseball America | Ben Badler ($) : Good stuff today, but it is all paywalled, unfortunately (we normally try to mix in some free material but the offseason is glacially slow at the moment).
BA has its big board up of prospective international signees in advance of signing day.
Part of their writeup is a look at where players might sign.
There are three forecasted to the Yankees.
Their 15th-ranked player, SS Manny Cedeno out of the Dominican Republic, who BA calls one of the most advanced hitters in the 2025 international class.
The 27th-ranked player, OF Ruben Castillo, also from the Dominican Republic, an above-average runner who looks good in center field and forecasts as a doubles and triple hitter.
Finally, the 76th-ranked player, OF Isaias Castillo from the Dominican Republic, a right-handed hitter with a mix of power and speed.
Oh...
and just to make everyone feel their mortality, the first two players feature 2008 birthdays.
The Athletic | The Athletic MLB Staff ($) : 12 MLB writers at The Athletic are Hall of Fame voters and theyve shared their ballots.
There are former Yankees galore on this years ballot, though some played in the Bronx only briefly.
Unsurprisingly, Ichiro appears on each voters ballot.
In excellent news, so does CC Sabathia.
Moreover, this article led me to check in on Ryan Thibodeauxs Hall of Fame Tracker .
As of late Tuesday afternoon, CC is in excellent shape on the known ballots, appearing on 92.8 percent of them.
