JJ Redick shared his response to a beautiful act of kindness from Chris Paul and Victor Wembanyama after a difficult week.

JJ Redick and the Los Angeles Lakers couldnt keep up with the San Antonio Spurs .

The Spurs annihilated the Lakers last night, beating them 126-102.

This marks the Lakers third consecutive loss.

After what was a tragic week for the city of Los Angeles, a loss like this might seem insignificant.

But the memory of the disaster looms over the city.

And Chris Paul and Victor Wembanyama tried to make things better for one of the people affected.

In an amazing act of kindness, they gifted his kids their game jerseys.

Sadly, Redick and his family have had a difficult week.

They lost their home because of the massive Los Angeles wildfires.

Paul is close with Redick, with the two being former teammates on the Clippers .

As for Wembanyama, he showed his true nature.

Despite his young age, he showed that he has a heart of gold.

He revealed that Paul called to let him know that regardless of the outcome, he and Wembanyama would gift Redicks sons their jerseys.

Chris is in that inner circle of brothers.

He called me this afternoon and said Vic and I are, whether you win or we win, were going to go over and give the boys [our] jerseys.

Hes well aware that theyre huge NBA fans...

They had a huge collection of jerseys and cards and they lost all that.

It was nice of them to do it.

They now each have two.

Austin [Reaves] was nice enough to leave a couple in the locker after practice the other day.

I appreciate all the love and Im not surprised Chris did something like that.

After suffering the unfortunate tragedy of losing his home to a fire, it is amazing to see several people in the NBA show love and support to Redick.

It is an amazing gesture as the city of Los Angeles tries to recover from the devastating wildfires.
