13Penn State will be getting both of its running backs back in 2025.

Nick Singleton and Kaytron Allen announced Monday they plan to return to school in 2025 after leading the offense to a College Football Playoff semifinal appearance as juniors this past year.

The duo in 2024 became the first in Penn State history to each rush for 1,000 yards.

Singleton gained 1,099 at an average of 6.4 per carry, while Allen gained 1,108 at an average of 5.0 per carry.

Singleton scored 12 times, while Allen added eight touchdowns.

Their return is a boon for an offense already planning to welcome back quarterback Drew Allar for his senior season.

Together, they'll look to lead a unit set to lose record-breaking tight end Tyler Warren.

The two backs will start next season 11th and 12th on the school's all-time rushing list, with Singleton at 2,912 and Allen at 2,811.

It's conceivable both could take the top two spots from current record holder Evan Royster (3,932 yards) should they have similar 1,100-yard seasons.
