'When We Can’t Score, We Lose Spirit' – Warriors Star Gets Honest on the Team’s Performance This Season, Following a Loss to the Defending Champs

The defending champions, Boston Celtics , dismantled the Golden State Warriors on Monday with a final score of 125-85.

The only starter to finish with double digits in scoring was Stephen Curry , the star of the Warriors, who gave it his all.

Curry had 18 points, three rebounds, four assists and two steals in 37.5% shooting from the field.

Curry had no help against the Celtics and the only player to score double digits outside of the star guard was Moses Moody .

Moody had 13 points off the bench, including six rebounds and five assists.

Boston never removed their foot off the gas pedal and obliterated Golden State.

Curry and the squad had a terrible defensive collapse in the third quarter, giving up 43 points.

The Western Conference squad was outscored 71-46 in the second half, which was too much for them to handle.

The four-time champion gave a candid evaluation of the teams 202425 NBA season performance following the game.

I have no idea, Curry said about the loss to the Boston Celtics .

Just been a tough one from the end of the first quarter through the rest of the game.

Thought we came out with pretty good life and energy.

Draymond Green is out for at least a week because of a left calf strain.

Jonathan Kuminga, meanwhile, is dealing with a lateral ankle sprain and will continue to miss time.

With that in mind, Curry addressed what the team needed from the other players.
