Clark called the teams international trip to Italy and Croatia for exhibition contests against foreign teams during the 2023 offseason as one of her fondest memory at Iowa.
And, she gave Croatia the edge between the two destinations.
I went to Split and Dubrovnik, Clark said.
It was awesome.
...
If you are going to go one place overseas, that has to be the spot.
It is clean.
The water is beautiful.
There are things to do.
The food is great.
However, the Indiana Fever star said the opportunity did not rank highly due to any remarkable happenings on the court.

We beat everybody by like 80.
It was so much fun.
We had so many fun nights together.
People do not get to hear about those types of memories with your college friends.
In Iowas three exhibition contests during the weeklong foreign tour, the Hawkeyes topped the Team Slammers 116-46 in Naples, Italy, before routing KK Tresnjevka 106-53 and the Croatia All-Stars 109-29 to round out the trip.
Clark scored 56 points, dished 16 assists and corralled 15 rebounds in just 37 minutes of action and concluded the trip plus-109.

5 appearance on the Fresh Tawk Podcast hosted by current Iowa womens basketball player Jada Gyamfi , Clark and her former teammates, including Gabbie Marshall and Kate Martin, discussed the trip.
We had three games there which was nice, Martin said.
We did not really have practice or anything.
We were vibing, Clark said.
The quartet discussed swimming in caves, cliff jumping and kayaking.

You guys were embarrassing to the team, Clark said.
...We were in the front obviously.
I was getting pissed that Kylie (Feuerbach) was faster than us ...
I had my phone out, and we were still ahead of you guys.
I was having fun.
We were insane.
We were going off.
Martin did admit she was hesitant to be Clarks partner at first.
I thought you were not going to contribute at all," Martin said.
"I was pleasantly surprised.
...
We were in sync.
According to Clark, the only negative aspect she experienced on the trip was the amount of cats seemingly everywhere the team went.
I hate cats, Clark said.
They were running everywhere.
We were eating at that one restaurant one of the nights and there was a cat running under my feet.
I was freaking out.
