The Phoenix Suns are making some big changes to the starting lineup, with trade rumors swirling around their team.

The Phoenix Suns , despite having a strong team, have struggled this season.

They currently sit 12th in the Western Conference with a 15-18 record.

Phoenix have been in poor form, having lost their last four games.

Kevin Durant , Devin Booker , and Bradley Beal havent been able to move the needle for the Suns.

The trio rarely play together, as all three of them rotate in and out of the lineup with their own respective injuries.

And this has cost the Suns massively.

Phoenix Suns dropping Bradley Beal from the starting lineup.

NBA insider Chris Haynes reported that the Suns will be dropping Bradley Beal and Jusuf Nurkic from the starting lineup.

This decision was made based on their four-game losing streak.

Bradley Beal and Jusuf Nurkic will be removed from the starting lineup starting Monday at Philadelphia.

In their place will be rookie Ryan Dunn and Mason Plumlee.

Sources: In midst of 4-game losing streak and tension in locker room, Phoenix expected to make drastic change by removing Bradley Beal, Jusuf Nurkic from starting lineup beginning Monday at Philadelphia.

#haynesbriefs pic.twitter.com/utz0FNLppB Coach Mike Budenholzer is trying to turn this losing streak around.

He expressed his frustrations with Nurkic recently, so this move isnt surprising.

But could the decision to drop Beal hint at something more? Hes averaging 12.5 points, 3.0 rebounds, and 2.8 assists, so maybe the team has something up their sleeve.

Suns locker room is filled with tension In the same report, Chris Haynes noted that there is a lot of tension in the Suns locker room.

In fact, players are not sure about where they stand, and the coaches are keeping them in the dark.

Players are unsure of their role.

The coaching staff are still trying to figure things out.

This situation will be something to monitor going forward.

Could the lack of a defined role for Beal be a sign that he is going to be traded soon? Interestingly, Beals name has come up a lot as the Suns look to land Jimmy Butler.

However, trading Beal away is a little complicated.

The former All-Star has a no-trade clause hed have to waive.

And in any deal with the Heat, they will need a third team, as Miami does not want him.

This is a situation, as Haynes said, that needs to be monitored going forward.

But the Suns could be ready to make a big move.
