JJ Redick upset over ‘egregious’ foul called on Anthony Davis

JJ Redick was upset after his Los Angeles Lakers 119-115 loss to the Houston Rockets over what he thought was a bad call on an egregious play.
The Lakers were down by the 119-115 score with 5.4 seconds left at the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas.
They inbounded the ball to LeBron James, who made a three-pointer that would have turned things into a 1-point game.
Instead, the officials called Anthony Davis for committing an offensive foul.

The last play, it was a terrible call, Davis said .

Davis also said that Holiday was flopping on the play.
Redick, who is in his first season as the Lakers head coach, made similar remarks after the game.
Redick said Holiday had an egregious flop.
Im not sure why he was rewarded, Redick said .
Davis had 30 points and 13 rebounds, so the foul call marred an otherwise standout game, in addition to taking away the Lakers chance at a comeback victory.
The Lakers are still 20-15 despite the defeat and have gone 7-3 in their last 10 games.
