Philadelphia Flyers Mock Cutter Gauthier After Dominating 6-0 Win Over the Ducks

The Philadelphia Flyers mocked Cutter Gauthier after a dominating 6-0 win over the Anaheim Ducks.
Just over a year ago, the Philadelphia Flyers traded their 5th overall pick in 2022 Cutter Gauthier to the Anaheim Ducks for the defenseman Jamie Drysdale.
General Manager Daniel Briere had to trade him after Gauthier made his stance on the organization clear: he would never play for the Flyers.
Gauthier was in Philly last night for his first career game at the Flyers' arena, and the night didn't go the way the player expected it to.
The Flyers offered an astonishing performance, beating the Ducks 6-0.
During the game, Flyers fans made their presence felt and didn't shy away from booing Gauthier and shouting insults at him : Flyers veteran Travis Konecny also didn't shy away from going after Gauthier, both on and off the ice.
In the game, he blatantly told him he would fight him: Later, in an interview, he stated that he doesn't care about the kid; and that it's his loss that he wanted to leave the Flyers: After their win, the Flyers had something else planned in their celebrations.
Shortly after returning to the locker room, they gave the player-of-the-game belt to Drysdale, who tallied two points in the win.
Then, they gave him an extra-long round of applause, a not-so-subtle message to Gauthier.
Watch how it went down in the following video: Gauthier was asked to open up on his night in an interview, and he denied that all the Flyers did affect his poor performance: Later, he talked about how important it was to forget about the game and start focusing on the next one, set to go down tonight against the Carolina Hurricanes: We've got a clean slate (and) play a good team tomorrow.
We've got to come out ready to go.' This article first appeared on House of Hockey and was syndicated with permission..
