Congratulations to all those who argued so strongly and loudly for so many years to bring a tournament to the postseason.

The first final four of the expanded (and soon to be expanded again) College Football Playoff is now set.

Just as you hoped, the loser of the Big Ten championship will play an independent that lost to Northern Illinois this season Thursday night in the Orange Bowl.

Then the the loser of the SEC championship will face a team that went uninvited to the Big Ten title game right here in the Cotton Bowl.
