Report: Chiefs' Mike Borgonzi, Browns' Cat Raiche Requested for Titans GM Interviews

After firing general manager Ran Carthon on Tuesday following just two seasons in the role, the Tennessee Titans reportedly have already begun lining up potential replacements for him.
The Athletic's Dianna Russini reported on Wednesday that the Titans requested an interview with Kansas City Chiefs assistant GM Mike Borgonzi.
Russini later added that Tennessee also requested to interview Cleveland Browns assistant GM and vice president of football operations Cat Raiche.
NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reported that the Titans are also "expected to interview" Buffalo Bills director of player personnel Terrance Gray for their GM opening.
Gray was also interviewed by the Los Angeles Chargers last year.
Borgonzi has been a member of the Chiefs organization since 2009 and held various roles before his promotion to assistant GM in 2021.
Kansas City's track record as the most successful franchise in the NFL today will make him one of the top candidates for a future GM job.
A Montreal native, Raiche got her start in various front-office roles for the Montreal Alouettes and Toronto Argonauts of the CFL and the Tampa Bay Vipers of the XFL.
She transitioned to the NFL by joining the Philadelphia Eagles front office in 2019, earning a promotion to vice president of football operations in 2021.
She was hired by the Browns the following year.
Carthon's firing on Tuesday surprised many around the NFL, especially considering that the Titans chose to retain him over former head coach Mike Vrabel following the 2023 season.
It was just a year ago that the organization was singing Carthon's praises and expressing confidence after giving him full roster control: However, after a disastrous 2024 campaign in which Tennessee tied for the worst record in the league at 3-14, controlling owner Amy Adams Strunk was singing a different tune.
"It's impossible to ignore that our football team hasn't improved over the past two years," Adams Strunk said in a statement .
"I am deeply disappointed in our poor win-loss record during this period, of course, but my decision also speaks to my concern about our long-term future should we stay the course." The Titans will have the No.
1 pick in the 2025 NFL draft, giving Carthon's eventual replacement the opportunity to shape the future of the franchise by adding a cornerstone to build around for the next few years..
