Three questions: What the Bills' rout of the Jets tells us, and looking at the Bills' ideal playoff road

Three questions on our mind after Sundays blowout by the Bills over the New York Jets: 1.
What did this game tell us for when the Bills go to the playoffs? It didnt tell us a ton that we didnt already know.
Josh Allen is playing like the MVP of the NFL.
He has 43 combined touchdowns and just six interceptions.
Thats a Super Bowl-caliber ratio.
Allen had 18 INTs last season.
It also was good to see Amari Cooper make a big-time play.
Even though his numbers arent huge, Cooper is a huge asset for the playoffs because he can win against any elite cornerback in the NFL.
The play of defensive ends Greg Rousseau and Von Miller also is key.
Rousseau will enter the playoffs on a roll.
He consistently has made big plays down the stretch.
The 35-year-old Miller got a sack, just his fifth of the season.
But Miller has looked impactful rushing off the edge the past six weeks.
The Bills have limited his playing time.
Hopefully, theyve been saving him for the playoffs.
The Bills cant get to the Super Bowl without Miller making a good impact.
Josh Allen walks off the field after the Bills 40-14 win over the New York Jets.
2.
How can the Jets be this bad with Garrett Wilson, Davante Adams and Breece Hall? Buffalo Bills coach Sean McDermott preaches complementary football.
On Sunday at Highmark Stadium, he saw it on full display as his team put together a 40-14 win over the New York Jets.
Forty to 14.
Besides being the final score Sunday, it accurately represents the organizational gap between the Bills and the Jets.
The Bills had a great organizational vision for their offense in 2024.
The Jets had a terrible vision for their offense.
They took big gambles at offensive tackle that didnt pay off.
Specifically, they gambled that creaky left tackle Tyron Smith could last 17 games.
He didnt.
Then the Jets sold their soul for Aaron Rodgers offense, allowing him to be the de facto coordinator.
Hes 41.
Yet the Jets coaches treated him like hes in his 31-year-old prime.
The Jets entered the game passing on 64% of their plays, the third-highest rate in the league, despite playing mostly close games.
When interim coach Jeff Ulbrich took over, he said the Jets were going to get more balanced.
Hall had 18 carries for 113 yards against the Bills in October.
He never got more than 16 since.
Bad offensive coaching shares in the blame for the Jets.
3.
Whats the ideal playoff race scenario for the regular season's final week? After last week's clunker-of-a-win, the Bills needed to play the way they did Sunday against the New York Jets.
The dream for Bills fans is for Denver or Miami to claim the No.
7 seed over Cincinnati, which should happen.
Denver should beat a Kansas City team sitting its starters.
Even if it doesnt, Miami should beat the Jets.
The ideal bracket would have the Chargers stay in the No.
6 spot.
That sends Los Angeles to Baltimore for the wild-card round the toughest possible matchup for the Ravens.
The Chargers beat the Ravens, then go to Kansas City, against whom theyve lost by only seven and two points.
The Chargers knock off the Chiefs in the divisional round.
The Bills beat Denver or Miami in the wild-card round, then beat Houston or Pittsburgh in the divisional round.
That puts the Chargers in Buffalo for the AFC final.
Is it likely all those dominoes fall in perfect order for the Bills? No.
But at least the Bills have the No.
2 seed, meaning they get at least two home games.
