Senior guard Brice Williams is playing at an All-Big Ten level, averaging 22 points per game during the three-game stretch.
Berke Buyuktuncel also scored a career-high 16 points in Nebraskas win over the Beavers.
The Huskers missed backup point guard Ahron Ulis in all three games, after he suffered a sprained ankle during practice ahead of the tournament.
Nebraskas defense is also playing at an elite level, allowing just 59 points over its last four-game stretch.
Southern Update: Southern has lost all four of its previous games this season against Power Four teams, losing at Iowa, Texas A&M, Ole Miss and in its last game against Southern California.
If there is one thing the Jaguars do well, it is pounding the offensive glass.
Southern is averaging over 13 offensive rebounds per game, which ranks 30th in college basketball this season.
It has led to Southern scoring 79 points per game, which ranks in the top-100 in the country.
Outside of that, the Jaguars struggle across the board.
They allow teams to shoot over 36% from behind the arc, so opportunities for Brice Williams and Connor Essegian will be there, and the Jaguars foul a lot, getting called for over 18 per game, while Nebraska is one of the best free-throw shooting teams in the country, making 77% of its attempt so far this season.
Prediction: Nebraska 81, Southern 60.
