We just experienced a beautiful moment live from Florida for the Montreal Canadiens organization.

The young goalie Jakub Dobes, playing in his first career game in the National Hockey League, earned a shutout against the reigning Stanley Cup Champions.

What a story! There's so much to say about this special game for Dobes, but we also wanted to highlight the subtle yet thoughtful gesture made by none other than Brendan Gallagher.

Number 11 made sure to retrieve the puck for his young goalie.

What a beautiful smile from Dobes that says it all: - RDS We are so happy for the young player, and it's well deserved.

Dobes stopped all 34 shots against him today in a 4-0 victory for the Montreal Canadiens over the Florida Panthers .

Indeed, what a day for the young Dobes who became only the 27th goalie to record a shutout in his NHL debut! Let's just say this bodes well for the Canadiens' new backup goalie as we begin the second half of the regular season schedule.

Also, what a beautiful family picture with Dobes and his loved ones who attended the game on short notice, truly heartwarming to see.
