Draisaitls Late Goal Extends Point Streak in Oilers 3-2 Win Over Ducks Leon Draisaitls clutch goal with 1:35 remaining in the third period secured a 3-2 victory for the Edmonton Oilers over the Anaheim Ducks.

He extended his point streak to 13 games.

Draisaitls game-winning goal helped the Oilers gain their second straight win.

Draisaitl now leads the NHL with 28 goals.

During his 13-game streak, he scored 11 goals and added 14 assists.

Nurse also scored and assisted, while Ryan Nugent-Hopkins scored the opening goal for Edmonton.

The Ducks never gave up.

They tied the game 2-2 early in the third with a power-play goal from Jackson LaCombe but could not capitalize on other scoring opportunities.

Ducks goalie Lukas Dostal made 23 saves in the loss, while Oilers netminder Stuart Skinner made 27 stops.

Edmontons win was revenge for a tough loss to Anaheim just a week earlier.

Saros Shuts Out Canucks as Predators Snap Losing Streak with 3-0 Victory Juuse Saros recorded his fourth shutout of the season, stopping 27 shots to lead the Nashville Predators to a 3-0 win over the Vancouver Canucks.

Saros stopped a breakaway on J.T.

Miller and made a huge pad save on Conor Garland to keep his team in the game.

Steven Stamkos scored the only goal that mattered.

The win helped Nashville snap a three-game losing streak.

Despite controlling most of the play, the Canucks struggled to solve Saros.

They came up empty on three power-play opportunities, including two in the third period.

Kevin Lankinen made 16 saves in a solid effort for Vancouver.

The Canucks have now gone winless in five straight home games.

Soderblom Shines in Blackhawks 4-2 Win Over Canadiens Arvid Soderblom made 38 saves to lead the Chicago Blackhawks to a 4-2 victory over the Montreal Canadiens.

The win snapped Chicagos five-game losing streak.

Nick Foligno scored twice, and Tyler Bertuzzi and Patrick Maroon also scored to help energize the Blackhawks after a tough loss in the Winter Classic.

The victorys highlight was the strong showing from Soderblom, who survived Montreals offensive pressure, especially in the second period.

He made several key saves to hold onto Chicagos lead.

Connor Bedard extended his point streak to six games with an assist on Folignos second goal.

Montreal could not overcome Soderbloms solid game despite generating numerous scoring chances.

Cole Caufield scored his 20th goal of the season to tie the game, and Emil Heineman added a power-play goal in the third to make it 3-2.

The game included a notable debut of Colton Dach , who played against his brother, Kirby Dach , in a memorable family moment.
