There's a lot on the line for the Bengals in Week 18.

Cincinnati's first order of business is getting a win to keep the door open for the AFC's final spot.

As part of their journey to get a victory, Bengals wide receiver Ja'Marr Chase will look to secure the triple crown while quarterback Joe Burrow is on the doorstep of an impressive statistical milestone.

Entering the regular season finale, Burrow has thrown for a league-leading 4,641 yards in 16 games.

With one game remaining, he is on the verge of becoming the ninth quarterback in NFL history to throw for 5,000 yards in one season.

Here is where Burrow stands in his pursuit and more on the company he'd join with a standout performance in Week 18.

While he has had two seasons cut short by injury, Burrow has racked up some impressive numbers through his first five NFL seasons.

Here's a look at his career numbers: Year Games Yards Yards/Game 2020 10 2,688 268.8 2021 16 4,611 288.2 2022 16 4,475 279.7 2023 10 2,309 230.9 2024 16 4,641 290.1 Burrow's 4,651 yards through 16 games are a new career-best, as is his average of 290.1 yards per game.

He'll need to exceed that average in Week 18 to join the NFL's 5,000-yard club, but that may not prove to be too tall of a task.

This season, Burrow has thrown for over 359 yards four times, including a 412-yard performance in an overtime win over Denver in Week 17.

He threw for 309 yards the last time he and the Bengals faced the Steelers .

The most passing yards Pittsburgh has allowed this season is 339, but that does not mean Burrow is incapable.

Given the high stakes of the game for Cincinnati and Chase's pursuit of receiving glory, Burrow could be in line for a legacy game of airing it out.
