Report: TCU to hire Army's Mike Buddie as next athletic director

FORT WORTH, Texas TCU is expected to bring in Army's Athletic Director Mike Buddie to fill the same role for the Horned Frogs, reports say.
According to ESPN's Pete Thamel, the deal is expected to get processed in the coming days as Buddie will have to depart from Army, where he has been since 2019.
This news comes on the heels of one of their football team's most successful seasons as they secured 12 wins for the first time in school history.
Sources: TCU is expected to hire Army AD Mike Buddie as the school's next athletic director.
The deal is expected to come together in the upcoming days.
Buddie has been at Army since 2019 and worked as the AD at Furman prior to that.

In 2015, Buddie took over the athletic director position at Furman University, where he saw much success relative to the university's size.
Before becoming an athletic administrator, Buddie played in the MLB with the New York Yankees and Milwaukee Brewers from 1998 to 2002.
Buddie will replace Jeremiah Donati, who left TCU for South Carolina's athletic director job earlier this month.
Donati led the Horned Frogs athletics department since September 2017..
