Notre Dame fans have a bone to pick with Rece Davis after the College GameDay co-host directed a brutal dig at the Fighting Irish .
On Friday, College Gameday traveled to South Bend, Indiana for the first-ever CFP home game between Notre Dame and Indiana - but it appears as though Fighting Irish faithful are already looking ahead to their teams next potential contest.
As the ESPN panel chatted with Georgia head coach Kirby Smart over Zoom, those in attendance at the live broadcast attempted to drown out the conversation with We want Georgia chants.
According to Davis, however, Notre Dame fans should be careful what they wish for.

I'm not sure they do.
Winless all-time against the Bulldogs.
Im not sure they want any of it, he said - sending his fellow pundits into a fit of laughter.
Smart couldn't help but chuckle at the unsubtle dig before chiming in: "Stir it up, stir it up." The Fighting Irish have lost all three matchups versus the Bulldogs, most recently suffering a 23-17 defeat in September of 2019.
The prior contests have all been close, with the largest margin of victory being just seven points.
Smart, for one, is hardly looking ahead to a potential faceoff against Notre Dame.
They gotta worry about their first game first, thats for sure, he said in response to the chanting fans.
And then we gotta worry about ourselves.
Thats the primary thing we gotta do.

Before the Fighting Irish can duke it out against the Bulldogs, theyll have to get through another stout opponent in the Hoosiers.
Taking down 11-1 Indiana will be no easy task, with quarterback Kurtis Rourke leading the way with 2,827 passing yards, 27 touchdowns and just four interceptions this season.
Georgia, meanwhile, is sitting comfortably with a first-round bye in the CFP after defeating Texas in a thrilling SEC Championship Game that needed to be decided in overtime.
The Bulldogs will be without one of their most important players in quarterback Carson Beck, who sustained an elbow injury against the Longhorns and is not expected to suit up in the next round.
Though Smart didnt rule out Beck for the CFP, he did reveal that the star signal-caller is mulling over all his options - one of which is reportedly season-ending surgery.
He and his family down in Jacksonville, his team and staff and really group of people in his family have been trying to pursue the best options to go forward, Smart said.
Weve talked to him.
Weve communicated with him, and were hoping for the best.
Should Beck remain sidelined, backup quarterback Gunner Stockton would receive the starting reins to the offense.
