Dec.

20With just one day until Penn State takes on the SMU Mustangs in the first round of the College Football Playoff in Beaver Stadium, the game has yet to sell out.

More than 1,000 tickets remain available for the game at face value, with those seats primarily in the sections near where the student section usually is.

The students did not sell out their allotment of 21,000 tickets, according to Penn State, and left plenty of seats for the general public to buy.

Chances of the game selling out appear to be lowering, with resale tickets listed for cheaper prices than the unsold tickets.

The seating capacity for Beaver Stadium is 106,572 and Penn State athletic director Pat Kraft said Dec.

12 that the university still had roughly 6,000 seats available at the time.

Resale seats are available in almost every section of Beaver Stadium, with prices (after fees) as low as $56 per seat on Ticketmaster as of Thursday night.

The face value of those seats is $244.30 for two tickets.

StubHub had over 1,200 listings available for one playoff ticket.

Parking remained available for purchase on Ticketmaster in lots 11, 25, 33, 34 and 36 for $106.

Those passes will all be delivered through mobile ticketing.

Revenue for parking, unlike revenue for tickets which goes to the College Football Playoff, will go to Penn State.
