The LA Lakers need all the wins they can get and racked up a comfortable win over the Sacramento Kings .

LeBron James return after a break has given the LA Lakers a much-needed jolt, with JJ Redicks team now winning their last two games.

The Lakers are up to 15-12 for the season, currently above the Timberwolves, Suns and Warriors, seventh place in the Western Conference .

James scored 19 points, while Anthony Davis was a big contributor, scoring 21 points and putting up a mammoth 20 rebounds.

Anthony Davis praised after win LA Lakers legend James Worthy was impressed by the teams performance and said it felt like the most complete game they have put together this season.

He was particularly impressed with Anthony Davis big night, and compared his rebounding to legendary 76ers star Moses Malone.

Worthy told the Lakers post-game broadcast: 20 rebounds, thats some Moses Malone right there.

I would say of those 20, about 10 to 12 of them, he went and got them.

It wasnt like he was in the area.

Thats what I like about him tonight, he went and got some rebounds.

He added that he believes Anthony Davis has reached the stage in his career where he can do it all, and do it on a nightly basis.

Worthy added: I think AD has arrived, at his age 31, hes peaking in his career, hes always had the talent but I think he has the know-how the last couple of seasons.

Hes consistent on all the things we need him to do, rebound, defend, score.

Hes having that type of season.

Davis is averaging 27.5 points per games this season and 11.7 rebounds per game.

Worthy had previously criticized Davis lack of desire during the Lakers recent poor stretch, suggesting he was mentally not where he needed to be .

But after Davis big night, he is singing his praises once again.

Not quite the most rebounds in NBA game this season Anthony Davis 20 rebounds was impressive but it was not the highest in a single game in the NBA this season.

The most rebounds in a game in 2024-25 is 22, numbers achieved by Karl-Anthony Towns (New York Knicks) and Jalen Duren (Detroit Pistons).

Davis has put up higher numbers in his career.

He once managed 26 rebounds for the New Orleans Pelicans against the Brooklyn Nets in 2019.

The highest scorer in the Lakers win over the Kings was not Davis or LeBron, it was Austin Reaves with 25.
