Bleacher Report picks $45 million dollar All-Star from Red Sox's eternal rival as solution for righty slugger problem | Sporting News

Recently, the Boston Red Sox have solidified their starting pitching with the acquisition of Walker Buehler.
However, Bleacher Report thinks the Sox still have a lot of work to do to be a complete team for next season.
Their solution? Sign former New York Yankees All-Star second baseman, Gleyber Torres, and a reliever, Tanner Scott.
Torres could be the quick, easy answer to the second base and righty slugger questions.
It would take some getting used to after he spent the past seven years with the Yankees, but Gleyber Torres could be a great pickup for a Boston team that should have a fair amount of money left in its budget.
This past season, Torres slashed .257/.330/.378/.709 with 15 homers, and 26 doubles.
He could honestly be the stone that kills two birds.
As for Tanner Scott, hes been on the Sox radar for a while .
While they have gotten a lefty reliever in Aroldis Chapman, hes past his prime, and Scott is just entering his.
And, if the Sox acquired him, they would only have two lefties in their bullpen, so it makes sense to get more.
Hopefully the Sox consider these solutions, as they both actually make a lot of sense.
