8 (NJCAA Division II) Mesa Community College, 59-58, on Saturday in Mesa, Arizona.

Defense helped the Golden Eagles to their seventh-straight win as 27 forced turnovers resulted in 23 points.

Samara Morrow led CSI with 14 points, though the Golden Eagles shot 27.8% from the field.

Free throws kept CSI in the game as it converted 76% of its attempts.

Mariah Mons boosted CSI with 13 points while Savannah Stoker contributed eight points and 10 rebounds.

Britany Kogbara led Mesa Community College with 21 points on 10-for-19 from the field.

Mesa Community College shot 38.5% from the field.

CSI will visit No.

17 Arizona Western College at 6 p.m.
