New Pick Emerges In Latest Dodgers Free Agent Prediction

The Los Angeles Dodgers are far from finished adding to their roster.
As general manager Brandon Gomes put it Well continue to try to make moves we feel are needle-movers, Gomes said.
Whether thats impact moves, or depth moves, all those play into our quest to repeat.
LA has been connected to lefty relief pitcher Tanner Smith and Japanese starting pitcher Roki Sasaki, but perhaps the biggest question has been their interest in re-signing outfielder Teoscar Hernandez.
Hernandez has expressed interest in coming back to LA, but it seems the two parties are at an impasse, with the Dodgers apparently lowballing the asking price.
The 32-year-old has been connected to every outfield-needy team in Major League Baseball from the Boston Red Sox to the Philadelphia Phillies to the Toronto Blue Jays.
But according to Bleacher Reports Kerry Miller , Hernandez will end up with the Cincinnati Reds, but their claim seems as random as throwing a dart.
Dodgers Not Expected To Re-Sign Teoscar Hernandez For no particularly concrete reason other than [Hernandez] has to sign somewhere, Cincinnati feels like the pick.
Miller does go through some game theory to get to this prediction.
He eliminates the Kansas City Royals, Detroit Tigers, and New York Yankees for a variety of reasons.
He expects the Reds to sign him for a 3 years, $66 million contract.
For the Dodgers, Miller breaks down how their outfield would shake out in Hernandezs absence; As things presently stand, its looking like theyll have [Michael] Conforto, Tommy Edman, Andy Pages, James Outman, and Chris Taylor as outfield options, plus Mookie Betts on days Miguel Rojas gets the start at shortstop.
Top prospect Dalton Rushing might also be in the mix, so theyre likely all set on corner outfielders.
