Kevin Durant has been out of the season after suffering a left ankle sprain in the beginning of this December.

In his absence, Devin Booker has led the Phoenix Suns and has honestly not done a good job.

Currently, the Phoenix Suns are ranked eighth in the Western Conference after winning 13 games and losing 11.

Phoenix recently broke a three-game losing streak after winning against the Utah Jazz in the previous matchup.

Still, their offense has been taking a kicking since the last ten games that Durant has been benched.

On NBA Today, NBA analyst Bobby Marks discussed the same, remarking that Bookers performance has dipped this season.

Devin Booker is an All-NBA type of player, but Devin Booker this year is not playing like an All-NBA player.

He is shooting 43% from the field, down from 49% last year.

Without Kevin Durant , this team is a lottery team.

...

Theyre so reliant on KD and if they have another Durant injury somewhere around the line, that is gonna be a huge, huge blow, Durant said on NBA Today.

Devin Booker this year is not playing like an All-NBA player.

Without Kevin Durant, this team is a lottery team.

@BobbyMarks42 and @KendrickPerkins are concerned about D-Books play this season with the Phoenix Suns.

Perkins went on to say that Booker was earlier seen as another version of Kobe Bryant .

However, the player is yet to play the role that Kevin Durant played for the Suns with his unimpressive numbers this year.

Kevin Durants Return Breaks Phoenixs Losing Streak On another positive note, Kevin Durant has finally returned to the Phoenix Suns after not playing for ten whole games as a result of an ankle sprain.

His return sparked the Suns to finally shake off their three-game losing streak.

Durant and the Suns took on the Utah Jazz recently and won with a final score of 134-126.

In that game, Durant scored a total of 30 points, grabbing three rebounds and assisting eight times.

Devin Booker was the second-highest scorer for the team with 34 points, along with a pair of boards and eight assists.

Royce ONeale and Tyus Jones were also heavy contributors for the Suns, with 17 points and 19 points respectively.

On the other side, Utah had Jordan Clarkson putting up 23 points, while John Collins managed another 22 points for the team.

Lauri Markkanen and Keyonte George added 19 points, and 18 points respectively in the game against the Phoenix Suns.

Durants return to the Suns gives off a hopeful vibe for Phoenix who is eager to improve their standings in the Western Conference.
