The Houston Texans are getting closer to wrapping up the AFC South with every win.

That said, the offensive line has done a horrid job at protecting C.J.

Stroud, which has drawn many fans to believe that Houston will target an offensive lineman in the first round of the 2025 NFL Draft.

However, in his latest mock draft for Sports Illustrated , Daniel Flick has the Texans taking someone on the other side of the ball - defensive tackle Walter Nolen out of Ole Miss.

"Houstons defense is statistically strong, but Nolen would elevate its interior defensive line," Flick writes.

"Nolen, who is 6'3" and 305 pounds, is explosive and disruptivehe notched four sacks, eight tackles for loss and 24 hurries this season.

A transfer from Texas A&M, Nolen is strong against the run, too.

He posted the fifth-best run defense grade (91.9) among defenders with at least 100 snaps, according to Pro Football Focus, and hes tied for second in the FBS with 31 run stops." With all the issues the Texans have had this season up front, not taking an offensive linemen feels like a bad choice, especially with the talent the Texans have on their defensive line..
