The Colorado Avalanche traded for two new goalies within a week and a half but only one has played since being acquired.

The Avs got goaltender Scott Wedgewood from the Nashville Predators for Justus Annunen on Nov.

Wedgewood came in as relief for Alexandar Georgiev in the epic 5-4 comeback win over the Buffalo Sabres on Dec.

3 and is 2-2 in his first four starts.

9 but he was under the weather to play in the first two games after he joined the team.

Media got its first chance to talk to Blackwood on Thursday morning.
