Boston Red Sox manager Alex Cora felt devastated after last night's loss to the Yankees, but still holds hope for the end of the season, per Masslive .

With 14 games left, the Sox need to win out and tie this series with New York, win two out of three or sweep the Tampa Bay Rays, sweep Minnesota, win two out of three against the Toronto Blue Jays, and win two out of three or sweep Tampa again to even sniff a chance at the playoffs.

The Sox play New York today to try and get the opportunity to tie the series at 1:05pm EST.
