LeBron James, Lakers Beat Kings as Anthony Davis' Huge Game Gets Love from NBA Fans

Anthony Davis didn't make anything easy for the Sacramento Kings at the basket on Thursday night.
The Los Angeles Lakers' star big man swatted away six shots to go along with a 21-point, 20-rebound double-doubleand four assists and three steals, for good measurein his team's 113-100 win in Sacramento.
Davis didn't have his most efficient shooting night (7-of-20 from the field), but his presence in the paint was crucial, as both his blocks and rebounds were season highs.
LeBron James added 19 points, seven assists and six rebounds, while Austin Reaves had 25 points for the Lakers.
Domantas Sabonis nearly had a triple-double (18 points, 12 rebounds, nine assists) in the losing effort, while De'Aaron Fox added 26 points and five assists.
Oh, and James set yet another all-time record on Thursday night, which at this point feels like a near-daily occurrence for the NBA legend: But this game was arguably won down on the block, and Davis went to work down low, receiving his flowers from fans and pundits after the contest: The Lakers had a bit of an injury scare earlier in the contest, as Davis checked out of the game late in the first quarter with a shoulder injury, though he was able to return.
Without him, it's hard to imagine the Lakers escaping Sacramento with a winon a night when the Lakers shot a dreadful XX.X percent from three, his defense and rebounding helped secure the victory.
The win moved the Lakers to 15-12 on the season and represented their first pair of back-to-back wins since November's six-game winning streak.
The loss, meanwhile, dropped the Kings to 13-15, ending a three-game winning streak of their own..
