WWE legend Jim Ross will be crossing over to the NFL for a special appearance.
Ross, 72, is considered by many as the greatest commentator in the history of professional wrestling.
But now JR will be lending his voice to this weeks Thursday Night Football match between the Green Bay Packers and Detroit Lions on Amazon Prime.
The Packers and the Lions will be locking horns at Ford Field this week.
The Oklahoma legend revealed his involvement in the games cold-open video package.
Ross tweeted: "If youre watching @PrimeVideo tonight for the @Lions vs.
@packers showdown, check out the cold open that I voiced over this morning." Read More on WWE This won't be JRs first foray into the NFL as he covered the Atlanta Falcons' radio broadcasts back in 1992.
Ross is still working for AEW where he makes sporadic appearances for the wrestling company.
The announcer is still playing a major role for Tony Khan's promotion despite some recent health problems.
Ross has covered a raft of WrestleManias as well as some of the greatest matches in history.

Ross has also competed in the WWE ring a few times as he shared the squared circle with the likes of Triple H, Austin and Cena.
The WWE Hall of Famer now shares the booth with fellow legendary commentators, such as Tony Schiavone and Taz..
