NFL makes major schedule change for Christmas Day showdown in rarely-seen move reserved for Super Bowl

THE NFL is making a special scheduling move for its Christmas Day games.
The Christmas NFL games will have an extra-long halftime show to allow Beyonce more time to perform.
According to TMZ, the NFL will expand the Christmas Day halftime to something closer to the Super Bowl halftime show.
Typical halftimes run for about 15 minutes, but the intermission of the Houston Texans-Baltimore Ravens matchup will be extended.
Reportedly, Beyonce will get around 20 minutes, just short of the 25 minutes the Super Bowl halftime show gets.
That extended halftime performance should increase the appeal of the game, which is streaming on Netflix .

"This unprecedented scale created many technical challenges, which the launch team tackled brilliantly by prioritizing stability of the stream for the majority of viewers," Stone wrote in a company memo.
