Travis Hunter Reveals 'Emotional' 6-Word Message He Sent Deion Sanders

Colorado's Travis Hunter just put together one of the most remarkable seasons in the history of major college football.
He was the Big 12 Defensive Player of the Year, but also led the conference with 92 catches and 14 touchdowns as a receiver, and his unprecedented success as a player on both sides of the ball has eleveated him not only to the top of the projected Heisman Trophy field, but likely to the top of the NFL draft, too.
And Hunter knows pretty clearly whom he has to thank for that: Colorado coach Deion Sanders.
It was Sanders who recruited Hunter three years ago, getting him to turn back on his commitment to Florida State and instead, to trust the idea of playing for him him at Jackson State.
Hunter then followed Sanders to Boulder.
