Louis U.
gets a bit of a breather when the Billikens host woeful Jackson State on Monday night.
Jackson State is among the nation's worst teams, according to KenPom rankings.
The Tigers have played a brutal schedule.
Their first home game of the season comes Jan.
11, and their first game in which KenPom gives the Tigers a reasonable chance of winning is just a week before that.
All but one of the Tigers' losses have been by double figures and all have come against teams in roughly the top third of Division I basketball.
Against their three toughest opponents, Houston, Kentucky and Xavier, the Tigers lost by an average of nearly 47 points.
Monday's game is one of two SLU will play in a six-day span against teams in the bottom 10% of Division I's 364 squads.

SLU is 4-2 after Wednesday's 93-90 win over UMass Lowell at Chaifetz Arena.
SLU and Jackson State have met just once previously, a 69-53 Billikens win in December 2005 at the venue now known as Enterprise Center.
