The Boston Celtics have never really had widespread injury problems until recently when six players were out or questionable .

However, half of them still came to play that game.

According to Jay King of the Athletic , members of the team said they think load management is detrimental to a teams ability to win.

Its hard for teams to be great, superstar Jaylen Brown said, if some of their best players never play back-to-back.

This can be seen as a subtle knock to Philadelphia 76ers superstar Joel Embiid, who stated he will never play back-to-back for the rest of his career .

As of now, the Sixers are 5-14, and second to last in the Eastern Conference.

Brown continued on his perspective of playing in back-to-backs: Back-to-backs, its not like just the Celtics have got to play them...Back-to-backs are tough to get your body, your mind ready depending on the flights, outside of the injuries.

But as you are looking to do something special, those are the moments youve got to kind of accept.

Head coach Joe Mazzulla agrees with Brown, and stated hed rather have his players play at less than 100% then not play at all.

Id rather them be out there and it not look crisp than not be out there.

The Celtics will possibly play with a fully recovered roster tonight against the Detroit Pistons at 7:30pm EST.
