Giannis Antetokounmpo has been in incredible form lately.

Entering the week, Giannis had scored the second highest number of points in the NBA over the past five games despite playing only four.

Entering a must-win night for the Milwaukee Bucks , Giannis Antetokounmpo stepped up with another big performance.

Giannis went 28-7-8 in a 128-107 win over the Detroit Pistons in the NBA Cup, and could have posted higher numbers if he was needed to.

The Bucks blowout win enabled Doc Rivers to play Giannis only 28 minutes in the win.

Following the win, the superstar sent a short message via social media, which read simply, In my bag, a reference to how well he is playing right now.

Asked after the game about his improved shooting from this range, he responded: I spent a lot of time working with some trainers in the off-season, with a desire to switch his game to help the team win more games.

Speaking about how he feels after playing the game, he responded: I feel great, I feel like I havent been touched, which is incredible.

He said he gets a lot of excitement from the way he is developing, commenting: Im literally changing my game.

It gives me so much dopamine rush in my head, because Ive been wanting to do this for a long time.

The former MVP has really stepped up as a leader in recent weeks.

While he was playing well early in the season, the Bucks were losing games.

Now they are winning too.

All the trade speculation about Giannis has disappeared, and the Bucks will not want him going anywhere.

They have home court advantage for their game against the Orlando Magic , with a place in the last four at Las Vegas at stake.

Both teams are in strong form right now, but when Giannis is playing like this, it would be brave to tip the Magic to beat them.
