Another day in a holding pattern as we wait for the winter meetings to kick off (and for Juan Soto to potentially sign beforehand).

To start this offseason week, commissioner Rob Manfred caused a small stir by bringing the idea of the Golden At-Bat rule.

Other news from yesterday included the posting of KBO star Hyeseong Kim, who is expected to secure a multi-year guarantee to play the infield somewhere in MLB.
