Golden Knights forward nearing return

Vegas Golden Knights captain and forward Mark Stone skated on Monday in a noncontact jersey, signaling his return is imminent.
He has been ruled out of Tuesdays game against the Edmonton Oilers but not for other games this week.
Well, for him, its probably just as important to get around his teammates again, get going, see some light action, Vegas coach Bruce Cassidy said.
I think he got through it OK.
Well find out tomorrow.
Stone has been out of the lineup since Nov.
6 after sustaining a lower-body injury against the Oilers in Edmonton.
He has 21 points this season (six goals and 15 assists) in 13 games.
His return would likely be a boost for the Golden Knights, as their power-play numbers have stagnated since Stones injury.
Six of his 15 assists have come on the man-advantage.
Stone will likely continue playing alongside Jack Eichel and Ivan Barbashev, giving the Golden Knights a powerful top line that can dominate a game.
Eichel and Barbashev have continued their strong play without the captain and are first and second on the team, respectively, in points (Eichel is first with 36 points, while Barbashev is second with 27).
Despite missing the past month, Stone remains third on the team.
Overall, Stone being healthy would be a timely addition to the Golden Knights.
They are set to play 12 games in December and could use Stone to help keep the team atop of the Pacific Division.
