Hawai'i basketball has some unique new threads ahead of a big matchup later this week.

The Rainbow Warriors revealed their new floral-design jerseys ahead of their matchup against No.

10 North Carolina in Honolulu.

The uniforms are green with flower prints on both the jerseys and the shorts, making them some of the most unique threads in college basketball this year.

Hawai'i is off to a 4-0 start for the second straight season with wins over Life Pacific, San Jose State, Pacific and Weber State.

Senior center Tanner Christensen has led the way for Hawai'i so far this year, putting up 17 points and 6.5 rebounds per game.

If the Rainbow Warriors can pull off an upset over the Tar Heels, it would be a season-defining win.

North Carolina comes into the matchup 2-1 with its only loss coming to top-ranked Kansas.

With a tough non-conference slate up ahead, the Tar Heels can't afford to slip up and lose to Hawai'i.

The Rainbow Warriors should come into the matchup fired up, as it's their first ranked matchup since 2019 when they lost to No.

21 Washington 72-61.

Hawai'i has also won 10 straight home matchups dating back to last season, so home-court advantage is certainly at play.

After Friday's matchup, the Rainbow Warriors have one more home game before hitting the road to take on Grand Canyon.

North Carolina will stay in Hawai'i after its meeting with the Rainbow Warriors to take on Dayton in the Maui Invitational..
