Being named to The Sports Technology Power List 2024 is a great honor and a testament to our networks continued innovation and commitment to delivering cutting-edge fan viewing experiences across all platforms, says .

This recognition underscores our dedication to revolutionizing local sports media with state-of-the-art technology and content that engages and energizes our fan base.

Over the past year, MNMT has continued to leverage technology to build out its digitally focused media platform, which holds the local broadcast rights for the NHLs Washington Capitals, the NBAs Washington Wizards, the WNBAs Washington Mystics, and the NBA G Leagues Capital City Go-Go.

MNMT has revolutionized fan engagement, leveraging technologies to deliver a personalized user interface accessible on multiple platforms, including web, mobile, smart TVs, and connected devices.

MNMTs platform consolidates real-time game statistics, live matches, match previews, pre-game shows, and post-game videos into a unified hub.

Additionally, integration with third-party tools like Sportradar enables retrieval and display of player statistics and MNMTs collaboration with WSC (an automated sports highlight clipping technology) facilitates smooth video clipping and highlight creation.

In March, MNMT opened a brand-new multi-million-dollar home for the independent media platform, including a best-in-class production facility and broadcast studios.

The new space consolidates nearly 200 employees into one unique 39,000 square foot, LEED-certified headquarters, featuring a state-of-the-art broadcast network.

Notably, the project entailed building a building within a building, including a new electric service, redundant chiller plant cooling towers, an emergency generator, and a data center with UPS, all to allow 24/7 operation with full backup capability.

The MNMT production center is a SMPTE 2110 facility that features two top quality studios which can combine on non-conflict nights to create one single national telecast worthy experience.

The main studios feature 24 cameras, 1,200 square feet of 4K quality LED monitors, and innovative robotics to help create the best possible pre- and post-game show viewing experiences for sports fans in the national capital region.

The facility also includes two insert studios and five control rooms to produce multiple events simultaneously.

In addition to its coverage of the Wizards, Capitals, Mystics, and Go-Go, MNMT proudly boasts a comprehensive schedule of original programming and live mens and womens college basketball, college football, college volleyball, high school basketball, and esports, as well as Washington Spirit (NWSL), Old Glory DC (Major League Rugby), Washington Freedom (Major League Cricket), and Annapolis Blues (NPSL) games.

In total, MNMT will air close to 500 games during the 2024-25 season, an all-time high.

In recognition of the networks exemplary achievements throughout the year, in December, (SBJ) announced Monumental Sports Network as the recipient of its Best in Local Media award and MNMT was awarded best new show and outstanding individual achievement in sports broadcasting at the 2024 Cynopsis Sports Media Awards, while also receiving six Capital Emmy Awards in June..
