The NBA Cup chaos is alive and well, folks.

With three game nights left in group play, the Warriors are the first team to punch their ticket to the quarterfinals.

Golden State took care of business Friday, downing New Orleans, while Dallas did them a solid by topping Denver.

That combination crowned the Warriors as the West Group C champs.

Its not just about clinching; its about making a statement.

The Warriors have been sharp in group play, and their early qualification puts the rest of the field on notice.

But dont sleep on Dallas just yet.

Despite sitting in second place in the group, the Mavericks are in prime position for the West wild card thanks to a healthy +41-point differential.
