WNBPA partner provides $170K in prize money for 3-point, shooting stars The Womens National Basketball Players Association and Aflac are sweetening the pot of money for winners of the 3-point and shooting stars contests at Friday, July 24, during All-Star Weekend in Chicago.
The prize pool will be $170,00 with Aflac providing supplemental prize checks for the first-, second- and third-place winners of the 3-point contest: - First place: $40,000 - Second place: $30,000 - Third Place: $15,000 Aflac is also investing $85,000 in supplemental payouts for the shooting stars competition.
Toronto Tempo guard Marina Mabrey and Atlanta Dream forward Rhyne Howard headline the field of six WNBA stars set to participate in the 3-point contest on Friday, July 24.
