The 2026 WNBA All-Star Game in Chicago brought all sorts of memorable and historic moments, including the Seattle Storm's Dominique Malonga exciting the spectators and teammates with an early slam dunk.
In the game's second quarter, she received a pass from her Team Coop teammate Angel Reese on a fast-break layup.
With no defenders nearby, the 6-foot-6 Malonga took off and dunked it.
Immediately after, Reese celebrated the play with Malonga, and fans also applauded seeing a player dunk in the annual game.
She joined WNBA history as one of a select group of players to dunk during the game.
Others have included Sylvia Fowles, Brittney Griner, Lisa Leslie, and Jonquel Jones.
Leslie was the first player ever to dunk in the game.
Griner has multiple dunks during her All-Star appearances.
While Malonga isn't the first player to dunk in a WNBA All-Star Game, the 20-year-old Storm player made history as the youngest ever to do so.

The highlight dunk wasn't Malonga's only historic feat in the WNBA All-Star Game.
By recording 12 points and 13 rebounds, she became the youngest player to record a double-double, breaking a previous record set by Kiki Iriafen, who was 21 in last year's All-Star Game.
Team Coop won this year's All-Star Game over Team Spoon, 129-122.
Jonquel Jones won the MVP Award after recording 22 points, 13 rebounds, and eight assists in the game.
Malonga was Seattle's second-overall pick in last year's WNBA Draft behind Paige Bueckers and is showing she's going to continue to emerge as one of the league's top stars.
She's made major strides since her rookie season, averaging 16.3 points, 8.5 rebounds, 1.6 assists, and 1.3 blocks per game.
Despite her improvement, the Storm are still in development, though, with a 6-23 record at the All-Star break.
However, as Malonga and new rookie teammate Flau'jae Johnson continue to develop into bigger stars, this team will likely be back in the conversation with other contenders in future seasons.
