White Sox fans being able to say that their team will be as aggressive as buyers this summer as some of the top contenders around baseball is a great thing.
It would be easy for the White Sox to act cautiously at this year's deadline, as their status as contenders this season is a bit murky considering how sudden this breakout has been.

To upgrade this roster, the White Sox could look to address their outfield need, but more realistically, this team will be seeking out pitching help.
Adding to the bullpen, specifically finding a good closer, would make a lot of sense.
But the White Sox's top need is another starting pitcher, ideally one with club control.
Reid Detmers or Jose Soriano of the Los Angeles Angels would be great targets.
Sandy Alcantara of the Miami Marlins would work as well.
Regardless of who the White Sox end up targeting, the plan is to be aggressive buyers, which is good news for the fans.
