The Chicago White Sox will look to finish off the Cleveland Guardians in Game 3 of the American League Division Series on Wednesday, Oct. 7. The best-of-five matchup continues in Chicago, with the White Sox holding a 2-0 series lead.
During the regular season, Cleveland narrowly beat out Chicago for the AL Central title. However, the White Sox have been unstoppable in the postseason, posting a 4-0 record. They swept the Houston Astros in the wild card round before winning the first two games against the Guardians.
Guardians manager Stephen Vogt praised his team's ability to stay present, saying, "This group, in particular the last couple years, has been unbelievable at focusing on today."
Should Cleveland avoid elimination with a win on Wednesday, Game 4 would take place Thursday in Chicago, and a decisive Game 5, if necessary, is slated for Saturday, Oct. 10.
Game Time and Viewing Information
First pitch for Wednesday's contest is scheduled for 4 p.m. ET at the White Sox's home ballpark. The game will be televised nationally on TBS. For streaming options, viewers can turn to HBO Max and Sling.
