Just when you think we can't get another update about Ohio State priority running back target David Gabriel Georges , we decided to head on down to a reputable place in Tennessee to see where things stand in enemy territory.
Lest anyone forget, Gabriel Georges is originally from Canada, but playing his high school ball in Chattanooga, Tennessee.
Hence, with the recruitment seemingly down to the Buckeyes and Vols , he can be considered an in-state advantage for Tennessee.
So, why not check in with the Knoxville News Sentinel in Knoxville, Tennessee, to get its perspective on how those in the Volunteer State see things at the moment, just three days away from his commitment announcement this Wednesday.
Here's where things stand, according to information obtained by Emmett Siegel.

Garrick Hodge, an Ohio State recruiting reporter for 247Sports, pointed to running backs coach Carlos Locklyn as a big advantage for the Buckeyes because he has formed one of the strongest relationships with Gabriel Georges.
Locklyn has even traveled to Canada to meet Gabriel Georges' family.
"I just think that Tennessee and Ohio State have always been near the top of David's wish list," Hodge said.
"I think they've sort of separated themselves over the last six months, at least, but really a year going back.
Ohio State's really always kind of been the leader in the race, and then Tennessee kind of charged this summer when they hosted him on an official visit." He believes Ohio State's track record of sending players to the NFL and competing for national championships, and the fact that OSU offered a full scholarship to Gabriel Georges' teammate and friend Jordan Darren Djila Tchuisseu, an unranked safety.
However, Tennessee has a more lucrative NIL offer on the table, and Gabriel Georges may have the chance to start right away in Knoxville, something that probably won't happen in Columbus.
Again, the majority of sources feel like Tennessee is going to land David Gabriel Georges, but there are sources that believe he ultimately goes to Ohio State, and I think theres confidence around both programs still with eight days to go," said Wiltfong.
