West Kelowna Warriors kick off new BCHL season at home Sept.

18 It will be a banner night at Royal LePage Place when the West Kelowna Warriors open the 2026-2027 BC Hockey League season.
The Warriors will raise league and Interior Division banners to the rafters of RLP when they kick off the season Friday, Sept.
18 against the Cranbrook Bucks.
While not the banners the Warriors were playing for after being dispatched in the opening round of the playoffs by the Bucks, head coach and GM Simon Ferguson says it will still be a significant evening given it's the first time in franchise history they have raised regular season championship banners.

18 marks the start of the BCHLs 54-game regular season schedule unveiled by the league Tuesday.
Teams will again play 26 games at home and 26 on the road with the remaining two games a part of the annual Showcase event.
Dates and opponents will be released at a later date.
The season concludes March 20 with the post season beginning the following weekend.
The Warriors schedule includes 25 weekend dates and just one Tuesday game near the end of the regular season.
As was the case last season, the Warriors will face each member of the Interior West Division seven times and Interior East Division teams four times each.
They also face the Coastal East Division this year, playing single games in Prince George and Coquitlam while hosting Langley and Surrey.
Their game with Chilliwack is expected to take place at the Showcase.
The Warriors will open training camp Sept.
5 with only two pre-season games to get ready for the season.
Their longest stretch of road games is six stretching over the Christmas break from Dec.
11 to Jan 2.
They close out the regular season with seven of their last 10 on home ice.
