Warriors All-Star Jimmy Butler shows support for Colombia at World Cup Colombia faced off against Switzerland in the FIFA World Cup round of 16 on July 7 at BC Place Vancouver, which is temporarily named Vancouver Stadium for the tournament.

Colombia fans packed the stadium as waves of yellow, red and blue filled the stands in Vancouver, British Colombia, Canada.

There's few things you can expect from Colombia fans: energy, pride, love.

That's guaranteed every match whether win, lose or draw.

The atmosphere that Colombian fans produce can be contagious.

So much that they've even lured six-time NBA All-Star Jimmy Butler of the Golden State Warriors.

Butler was in attendance in support of Colombia at the match sporting their nation's colors.

"Colombia, we are here," Butler said in a video posted to social media.

"Soy Colombiano.

Look, we done showed up.

Look at these colors, they're everywhere." Butler was apparently there to support Colombian midfielder James Rodriguez, along with the rest of the Colombia men's national soccer team.

A man of the people.

Butler could be seen interacting with fans, singing, dancing and taking pictures as he enjoyed the World Cup action.

Who is Jimmy Butler? Butler is a professional basketball player who has played 15 NBA seasons.

He is currently a member of the Golden State Warriors.

Butler, 36, first joined the NBA as a 30th overall pick in the first round of the 2011 NBA Draft.

He was selected by the Chicago Bulls out of Marquette.

He stands at 6-foot-6, 230-pounds.

Throughout his career, Butler has also played for the Minnesota Timberwolves, Philadelphia 76ers and Miami Heat.

He was named the 2015 Most Improved Player of the Year, where he made his first all-star appearance.

Butler is a Texas native.

He was born in Houston and grew up in Tomball, a nearby suburb.
