Von Miller posts himself in Cowboys jersey as free agency drags on

Von Miller may have just hinted at where he will play this season.

On Wednesday, the edge rusher posted a photo of himself in a No.

24 Cowboys jersey on his Instagram Story.

The post comes just days after he told SB Nation that it would be great to be a Dallas Cowboy.

I grew up here in Dallas, Miller told the outlet.

Ive always had a special place in my heart for the Dallas Cowboys.

If I played for the Dallas Cowboys this year, I [would] only have to drive 20 minutes to work.

Miller added that it would be the first time his mom and dad wouldnt have to fly to a game.

His mom has been to every NFL game of his and staying home would make that a lot easier.

Millers children and girlfriend also live in Dallas.

You know we talked about that magnetic field in College Station [when he played at Texas A&M], he added.

Maybe the magnetic field here in Dallas will get me there.

So I would love to play for the Dallas Cowboys, and itd be amazing.

Last season, Miller played for an NFC East rival in the Commanders, but he has since said he regrets the decision.

He expected a huge year from quarterback Jayden Daniels and thought he could compete for a championship.

Obviously, I picked the wrong team on that one, Miller said on the 89 podcast.

The eight-time Pro Bowler and three-time All-Pros search for a new team could come to an end shortly with training camps beginning in late July for most teams.

Miller said earlier this year he would welcome a return to the Broncos should they call.

He spent 10 seasons in Denver, recording a franchise-record 110.5 career sacks, 390 solo tackles, 142 tackles for loss, and 225 quarterback hits.

Miller was also named Super Bowl MVP with the Broncos after a 24-10 win over the Panthers in 2016.
