Utah’s film-watching setup goes viral and draws attention from an NFL vet

Utah defensive tackle Jamal Wallace posted a video of him doing film study on Friday, and just hours later, it went viral, drawing attention from across the football world.

In the short video clip, Wallace, a transfer from Tennessee, is seen simulating game play with the help of a giant video wall and some chairs at the Utes practice facility.

Using the chairs as dummies, Wallace tries out different techniques.

Its an innovative and interactive way to watch film, but Utah isnt only school with the technology its also been used at places such as Texas Tech.

In a slow time for football news, Wallaces video picked up steam and was reposted to the NFLs Instagram page, where it drew more than 87,000 likes.

Wallace even drew the attention of former NFL defensive tackle Gerald McCoy, who went to six Pro Bowls and was named to an All-Pro team.

McCoy replied to Wallaces post and gave him some advice.

Keep your pads down young fella.

I love what youre doing but dont practice bad habits.

Practice IT ALL!! Low pads, hands, feet, all of it.

You already have what others dont, want to and work ethic, now put it all together and go be great, McCoy wrote.
